Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is a great place to stay with plenty of dining options and recreational activities. The resort also has a great view of Cinderella’s castle in Magic Kingdom and the fireworks display every night with speakers letting you experience the entire show from across the lake!
Bora Bora Bungalows; What to Expect
When choosing accommodations for your vacation, most rooms at the Polynesian Village Resort can only accommodate 5 guests. However, the Bora Bora Bungalows can accommodate up to 8 guests!
Located on the water of Bay Lake, you will have a completely unobstructed view of the castle and a front row seat to the fireworks and Electrical Water Pageant every night!
Each Bungalow includes two bedrooms, a master with a king bed and an ensuite bathroom and a second bedroom with a queen size bed and a pull down twin bed. There is also a second separate split bathroom, a full size kitchen, and a living room area with a pull down double bed and a second pull down twin bed.

From the kitchen and master bedroom, you have access to the balcony that has a smaller dining table, lounge chairs, and your very own pool!
There is, however, some noise from the resort transportation boats and transfer centre ferry throughout the day and into the night. Most of the noticeable noise comes from the side closest to the ferry boats as they are louder and make significantly more noise, so if possible I would recommend trying to request a room closer to the resort transportation boats.
Overall, I would 100% recommend staying in the Polynesian Village Resort Bungalows as they are a truly unique experience!
The Polynesian Resort Bungalows are one of the more expensive options when staying on Walt Disney World property, but it is definitely worth it! Make sure to consult your travel agent when looking into booking a stay in the Bora Bora Bungalows as they are not available to book online!
